We call it Active Resting.The RoleAs Head of Operations, you are the driving force behind our properties, leading all managers and staff to ensure smooth operations and the achievement of all financial, experiential, and brand goals.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct & OperationsOversee and optimize all property areas (Front Desk, Housekeeping, F&B, Kitchen, Surf Camp, Co-Working, Experiences).
Ensure both locations are fully stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.Identify and supervise maintenance needs, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.Finance & AccountingManage the P&L and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all channels.Oversee compliance with local accounting regulations and legal requirements.Implement and monitor on-site accounting controls and systems in line with partner guidelines.Handle cash management, payments, and bank deposits.Proactively report and address any issues that could disrupt business operations.Human ResourcesDirectly manage all staff at both locations.Lead recruitment, selection, and onboarding for all open positions.Develop and manage staffing plans to balance service quality with cost efficiency.Assess training needs and deliver or coordinate relevant training.Oversee payroll, benefits, and incentive plans.Supervise the implementation of environmental health and safety protocols.Sales & MarketingDevelop and execute the sales strategy for both locations.Achieve and exceed revenue targets.Build local partnerships to promote the MUTE brand.Create and manage marketing plans in line with brand guidelines.Ensure consistent and proper use of brand assets.Guest & Community ExperienceFoster a positive, inclusive environment for guests, staff, and the local community.Design and implement unique experiences and programming that reflect the MUTE lifestyle.Be actively present on-site to support the team and ensure outstanding guest experience.What We're Looking ForProven experience in hospitality management, preferably in hostels or lifestyle brands.Strong leadership and team-building skills.Passion for outdoor activities and community-driven experiences.Excellent organizational, financial, and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Join MUTE and help us create unforgettable experiences for adventurers from around the world!
