In Alten Portugal we are looking for a new Business Manager to join our team for the Life science sector!
Your role as Business Manager:
As Business Manager, you will be an entrepreneur in building your business unit carrying out 3 main activities:
1. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Creating new business opportunities by prospecting new customers and thinking out of the box
Gathering new business leads with current customers
Participating in the development of business offers
Supporting the company to meet its commercial objectives
Optimizing business profitability
"Farming" customer relationships with your winning way
Supporting our clients in demanding projects through several service offering
Analysing and reporting your business activities
2. HUMAN RESOURCES
Participating in the recruitment strategy definition and process
Continuously recruit, interview, and match candidates with customer's needs
3. MANAGEMENT
Act as a leader to build your own team of consultants
Be in charge of your consultant team's career evolution (Annual review, career committee, training)
Supervising the financial status of your business activity (P&L)
Organizing & coordinating the commercial relationships with your partners
Your profile:
Bachelor's and Master's degree in Business Administration / Economics or a degree in Engineering or Life Sciences.
You are fluent in Portuguese and English.
Corporate entrepreneurship spirit
You are a good listener, pro-active, persuasive, communicative and have a "hands-on" mentality
You are autonomous, you can manage your own priorities but also you are a team player keeping focus on the company's interests
You have a proven track record of closing new business opportunities
