We are currently looking for a new member for the Brightcityteam to join us in the position of Project Manager, Brightcity.
Working Place: Sonae Sierra's Central Offices in Maia
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field – with a preference for Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in similar roles.
- Solid knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project.
- Proficiency in the Public Contracts Code (CCP) and applicable legal procedures.
- Proven experience in the preparation and management of public tenders and building projects (preferred).
- Knowledge of energy systems, building automation, or sustainable technologies.
- Strong leadership skills, effective communication, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proactive, team-oriented, and results-driven.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, organize, and monitor public tenders and building projects related to energy efficiency, in accordance with the Public Contracts Code (CCP).
- Prepare the necessary technical and administrative documentation for participation in tenders.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering, legal, and administrative teams to ensure timely and complete submission of proposals.
- Manage deadlines and tender requirements with high precision and organization.
- Use tools such as AutoCAD and MS Project to support planning and the preparation of technical proposals.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations applicable to public tenders.
- Oversee the contractual execution of awarded projects, in coordination with the various stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of internal processes related to tenders and public procurement
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in the development of solutions for public tenders and projects.
- Translate technical and legal requirements into efficient and well-structured proposals.
- Monitor the progress of proposals and contracts, ensuring the achievement of established goals.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and client teams to clarify scopes and deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with sustainability standards and regulations (e.g., BREEAM, LEED, ISO 50001).
- Make occasional site visits to construction projects, partners, or clients in Portugal or other European countries, if necessary.
