Our client is a strategic business unit of the world's leading cork products group.
This division focuses on creating innovative, sustainable, and high-performance technical solutions for various industries. They are looking to strengthen their Aerospace segment by hiring a Sales Manager to develop European markets.
This professional will report directly to the Global Sales Director based in the U.S. This is a full remote position based within the EU, requiring up to 50% travel across assigned territories in Europe.
responsibilities
Plan, prepare and carry out the schedule of visits to all customers ensuring the reporting to the Commercial Director, through the preparation of the respective visit reports, ensuring compliance with agreed annual sales plan and managing margins according to the established limits by the Commercial Director, while also prospecting future business in their geographical area (Europe);
Answer to customer requests/orders, regarding product specifications, prices, availability and shipment of samples, coordinating with the Global Product Manager, to ensure a prompt and swift response to customer needs;
Contribute to solve technical and commercial issues raised by customers, in partnership with the customer service, production planning and finance department to ensure customer satisfaction, by providing an integrated service;
Report to the Commercial Director, relevant information regarding the customers / segments allocated, the needs detected in the market during commercial visits, for orienting the global segment strategy;
Identify and develop joint solutions, together with the customer's or partner's technical team, including thorough meetings with technical teams. When necessary, with the support of the Global Product Manager/Global Technical Manager, and with the intention of translating customer needs into technical specifications, develop solutions tailored to customer needs.
competencies
Bachelor or Master in Materials Engineering, Construction Engineering (preferential) or Management;
3 years of experience on international sales roles (mandatory);
Experience on Aerospace and Defense environment (preferential);
Strong knowledge of the European markets;
Advanced knowledge of English (mandatory);
P&L Knowledge;
Good sales skills (prospecting, opening, negotiation, follow up);
Results orientation;
Analytical capacity:
Good time management and work organization;
Good communication and relation skills.
