About KLx KLx is the Portuguese subsidiary of Crédit Agricole S.A., a large international banking group that provides IT Skills & Software Development services to the IT organizations within the group's business lines. You will join the CIB (Corporate Investment Banking) unit of over 100 professionals in Portugal. We're looking for a IT Team Manager that will play a key role in driving engineering excellence, team performance, and innovation within KLx. This role combines technical leadership, delivery accountability, and people management to ensure high-quality software development aligned with business goals. The IT Team Manager is responsible for: Providing technical leadership across development, architecture, and DevOps practices; Leading, coaching, and growing high-performing engineering teams; Ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of projects and solutions; Driving continuous improvement in engineering practices, tools, and processes; Promoting the adoption of AI-assisted development and innovation; Managing technical risks and acting as escalation point for complex issues; Building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring clear reporting on performance. About you Strong background in software development, ideally across multiple technology stacks; Proven experience in modern software engineering practices, DevOps, CI/CD, testing strategies, and system design; Demonstrated ability to review code, challenge architectures, and guide engineers technically; Previous experience leading development teams and delivering projects in Agile environments; Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing engineers; Ability to combine technical expertise with strong people leadership; Fluent in French and English.
