Contract Business Analyst – Data & SQL Expertise
The role requires a highly skilled professional with strong data analysis expertise and advanced SQL skills to join a major data transformation programme.
* Gather, analyse and document business requirements for data governance and cataloguing initiatives.
* Work closely with stakeholders to define data standards and ensure alignment across projects.
* Perform complex data analysis using SQL to support decision-making and validate data quality.
* Contribute to the design and implementation of master data frameworks and data governance processes.
* Support the development and maintenance of data catalogues and metadata management solutions.
* Manage competing priorities across multiple streams of work, ensuring timely delivery.
This job requires someone who can manage multiple workstreams, prioritise workloads effectively and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements for data governance and cataloguing initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to define data standards, performing complex data analysis using SQL, contributing to the design and implementation of master data frameworks, supporting the development and maintenance of data catalogues and managing competing priorities across multiple streams of work.
