We are looking for an
Accounts Payable Manager
to join our Finance Shared Services Center in Porto.
Role mission
Lead and guide the Accounts Payable team, ensuring efficient workload distribution, high service quality, and full compliance with SLAs and KPIs in a high-volume, multi-country environment. Drive continuous improvement, resolve critical issues, and support operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable processes, ensuring accuracy and service quality
Coordinate daily operations and workload allocation across the team
Ensure accurate processing of invoices, credit notes, and payments in line with policies and local regulations
Supervise payment execution and contribute to DPO optimization
Lead month-end and year-end closing activities (reconciliations, provisions, validations)
Manage escalations and critical issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives
Monitor KPIs and identify performance improvement opportunities
Maintain strong collaboration with Procurement, Logistics, and Finance teams
Profile
5–8 years of experience in Accounts Payable
Strong accounting knowledge
Experience managing teams
SAP and financial systems expertise (SAP, SAP VIM, etc.)
High proficiency in English (B2+)
Spanish, and/or Portuguese proficiency will be highly valued
Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
