- Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution;
- Maintaining an optimal level of customer satisfaction;
- Identifying all customer issues and recommending appropriate resolutions;
- Providing 2nd-level support by researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, identifying solutions, configuring, upgrading, and migrating systems;
- Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams;
- Writing and maintaining documentation.
Profile
- Solid and extensive knowledge of IT data center infrastructure in general and navigating medium to large IT environments;
- Experience with implementing new databases and managing existing databases operationally;
- Customer-focused approach regarding database operations, with an emphasis on reliability and performance;
- Able to handle tasks such as:
- Preparing operational procedures for backup and recovery, tuning, integrity, reliability, and database user administration;
- Supporting application teams and assets in setting up the internal database structure;
- Establishing and following robust database standards.
- Knowledge of working with databases in the Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform;
- Fluent in technical English (spoken & written).
