About the Role
To support our financial operations and contribute to our continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Certified Accountant, with strong Controlling skills, to join our team in Lisbon and support the CFO in the financial management of such a dynamic and fast-growing company, specialized in AI-powered software solutions and operations excellence.

Key responsibilities
* Ensure full compliance with local accounting, tax, and legal obligations
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings according to Portuguese GAAP (SNC) and Group-level requirements (IFRS)
* Prepare monthly financial reports for local management and group headquarters (HQ)
* Lead and improve internal control and financial reporting processes
* Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
* Support management in strategic decision-making through financial analysis and KPIs
* Collaborate closely with the group's finance team (English-speaking environment)
* Liaise with statutory auditors, external consultants, and regulatory entities
Profile
* Certified Accountant in Portugal (OCC membership required)
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related field
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar roles, ideally in an international or group context
* Strong knowledge of Portuguese GAAP, tax obligations, and solid understanding of IFRS
* Hands-on experience with ERP System NetSuite is highly valued
* Strong track record in Controlling : budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis
* Fluent in English (high communication with group HQ)
* Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel (experience with Power BI is a plus)
* Strong analytical mindset, critical thinking, and attention to detail
* High sense of responsibility, autonomy, and initiative - proactive in improving processes
