Job Description Define and design the high-level architecture on existing Java/J2EE applications both cloud and legacy.
Scope, analyze, and size business requirements.
Design solutions in alignment with Nokia's best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
Be responsible for the technical aspects of project implementation in close collaboration with Nokia IT project managers, data engineering specialists, product owners, security teams, and 3rd parties (infrastructure and support providers).
Complete the architecture and system documentation in accordance with Project milestones (PMM methodology).
Support the Project Managers to understand Risks and Impacts.
Translate business requirements into IT requirements in cooperation with IT Product owner.
Define the IT requirements and sign off design of the solutions.
Contribute to the growth of the cloud practice at Nokia by promoting knowledge and resource base, educating, and enriching Cloud practices within the delivery team.
Counsel and contribute to the development activities performed by the delivery team.
Provide recommendations within IT and to business stakeholders on architecture strategy.
Contribute to investment proposals with technical estimates and business cases with cost/benefit analysis.
Participate in prototyping and pilots and evaluate the possibilities offered by different technologies and platforms.
Partner with business stakeholders and process owners to proactively understand and capture business needs.
Proactively follow digital market technologies, trends, and innovations.
Provide solutions in line with Security, Legal & Compliance requirements.
Drive technology selection process together with business and IT.
Create and maintain enterprise architecture diagrams.
Drive technology roadmapping.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn Collaborate with key stakeholders to analyze ideas and demands for architectural fit and translate detailed business requirements provided by the solution owner into implementable solutions including specific technical requirements.
Partner with business and IT on solution architecture design.
Determine the technologies and propose overall solution architecture based on enterprise architecture and technology understanding.
Contribute to cost and benefit analysis.
Keep alignment between enterprise architecture blueprint and recommendations and solution implementation, ensuring technical integrity, consistency, and quality of the solution at every stage of its lifecycle.
Solve highly complex technical problems and develop original and innovative solutions with impact on the business.
Define and document detailed solution architectural and system designs.
Update solution design documents as needed based on actual implementations.
Anticipate internal and external business challenges and/or regulatory issues and drive improvements that create competitive advantage.
Provide guidance on project solution design compliance with enterprise architecture and make recommendations for alignment, quality, and efficiency based on experience.
May be assigned to a particular project or program to ensure technical/architectural integrity and consistency of the solution.
Key Skills And Experience Bachelor's degree or higher in Telecommunications/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
8 - 12 years of experience in business and process analysis on supply chain applications.
8 - 12 years of experience in solution architecture with different technological models in the above space.
Experience in database engineering and optimizations involving SQL Server, Oracle.
Experience in software development and design patterns relating to Java/J2EE technologies, Angular, React.Js, Node.Js, Web services, and Integration technologies.
Experience with AWS/Azure for solution designs leveraging their capabilities.
Experience in designing solutions in microservice architecture.
Experience working with Agile methodology/DevOps environment.
Experience in architecture tools (Qualiware).
Solid methodical skills with attention to detail and process requirements.
Ability to work on several project streams in parallel and prioritize to ensure on-time delivery.
Ability to critically think and willingness to challenge the status quo.
Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in a multicultural environment of a global matrix organization.
Passion for problem-solving.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Innovative thinking skills and ability to analyze details and see the big picture.
Excellent presentation, networking, and communication skills with a variety of audiences, including executive level, peer to peer, subordinate, technical, and non-technical.
High energy, initiative, enthusiasm, and persistence.
Knowledge of data protection regulations; NSA will be an add-on.
Information security understanding.
Understanding of ITIL will be an added advantage.
