Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated, motivated, and reliable Sr. Go (Golang) Engineer who will develop innovative software solutions for our clients. You will build backend services in Go on EKS, create Lambdas, and work on systems that provide product data, warehouse inventory, shipping logistics, and product life-cycle management.
Responsibilities
Use deep expertise in Go and related technologies to develop high-quality, scalable, maintainable software solutions.
Make technically sound decisions and champion high coding and architecture standards.
Develop and maintain software documentation such as technical specifications and design documents.
Mentor teammates, conduct code reviews, and improve SDLC processes.
Diagnose and debug software issues as they arise.
Translate functional and non-functional requirements into actionable work in a cross-functional team.
Communicate progress and status to stakeholders.
We Are Looking For
At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in Go (Golang), including syntax, semantics, database connectivity, and object-oriented concepts.
Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Experience with Go frameworks such as Gin, Revel, Echo, Beego, etc.
Knowledge of web services (HTTP, SOAP, REST, GQL).
Experience with Terraform, Lambdas, API design.
Strong working knowledge of relational databases.
Experience troubleshooting issues and root-cause analysis.
Track record of delivering high-quality, tested software on time.
Excellent communication skills and intermediate English proficiency.
Experience working in distributed, cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
Experience with Kubernetes or EKS.
Familiarity with Algolia.
Knowledge of Shopify.
