And that's where you come in.Paço de Arcos, Portugal (On‐Site)PTEstamos atualmente à procura de umField Service Engineerpara integrar a Hitachi Rail Portugal e apoiar atividades de manutenção, instalação e comissionamento de sistemas de sinalização ferroviária e de comunicação em toda a rede nacional portuguesa.Nota:Esta função será baseada nas zonas deCoimbra, Santa Comba Dão e Pampilhosa .Um Field Service Engineer é responsável por:Realizar manutenção preventiva e corretiva em sistemas de sinalização ferroviária e telecomunicações.Diagnosticar avarias, substituir componentes, executar reparações e restabelecer o funcionamento normal dentro dos tempos de resposta contratuais.Executar testes de sistema, inspeções, medições e verificações funcionais de acordo com procedimentos internos e normas ferroviárias.Assegurar suporte de primeira linha para incidentes ocorridos na Rede Ferroviária Nacional (RFN).Apoiar a instalação, integração e configuração de equipamentos no local.Realizar atividades de comissionamento, incluindo arranque, verificação de cablagem, configuração do sistema e testes funcionais/de aceitação.Executar atividades em total conformidade com as regras de segurança ferroviária e normas técnicas.Manter registos técnicos precisos, logs, não conformidades e relatórios.Coordenar com o Centro de Manutenção, equipas de engenharia e equipas de projeto para resolver problemas técnicos.Fornecer feedback à Engenharia sobre problemas recorrentes e melhorias do sistema.Garantir o controlo de configuração dos equipamentos instalados de acordo com os processos da empresa.Competências Técnicas e ProfissionaisLicenciatura em Engenharia Eletrotécnica / Engenharia Electrotécnica ou equivalente.Experiência prévia em sinalização ferroviária, sistemas eletrotécnicos, telecomunicações, automação ou áreas relacionadas.Experiência de trabalho na Rede Ferroviária Nacional (RFN) é uma forte vantagem.Certificação válida em "Segurança Ferroviária para Técnicos" (IET 77) ou disponibilidade de a obter.Sólidos conhecimentos em sistemas de baixa tensão, circuitos, esquemas, ferramentas de teste e equipamentos eletromecânicos.Capacidade de ler e interpretar desenhos técnicos, manuais e documentação de sinalização.Domínio de português e inglês.Carta de condução válida e disponibilidade para rotatividade de prevenção (on‐call).Preferencial / ValorizadoConhecimento das normas ferroviárias CENELEC (EN 50126/128/129).Experiência prévia em trabalhos de campo com fortes restrições de segurança e operação.We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join Hitachi Rail Portugal to support maintenance, installation and commissioning activities for railway signalling and communication systems across the national Portuguese network. A Field Service Engineer is responsible for:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on railway signalling and telecommunications systems.Diagnose faults, replace components, execute repairs and restore normal operation within contractual response times.Execute system tests, inspections, measurements and functional verifications following internal procedures and railway standards.Ensure first‐line support for incidents occurring on the national railway network (RFN).Support installation, integration and configuration of equipment on‐site.Conduct commissioning activities, including start‐up, cabling checks, system configuration, and functional/acceptance tests.Perform activities in full compliance with railway safety rules and technical standards.Maintain accurate technical records, logs, non‐conformities and reports.Coordinate with the Maintenance Centre, engineering teams and project teams to resolve technical issues.Provide feedback to Engineering on recurrent problems and system improvements.Ensure configuration control of installed equipment according to company processes.Technical & Professional SkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrotechnical Engineering or equivalent.Previous experience in railway signalling, electrotechnical systems, telecommunications, automation or related areas.Experience working on the National Railway Network (RFN) is a strong advantage.Valid certification in "Segurança Ferroviária para Técnicos" (IET 77) or ability to obtain it.Solid knowledge in low voltage systems, circuits, schematics, testing tools, and electromechanical equipment.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and signalling documentation.Fluent Portuguese and English.Valid driving licence and availability for on‐call rotations.Preferred / Nice To HaveKnowledge of CENELEC railway standards (EN 50126/128/129).Previous experience in field environments with strict safety and operational constraints.Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
