About the Role
We are seeking a skilled System Architect to work on cloud integration solutions with a focus on customer needs. You will work on projects about Cloud Adoption, Data Integration, and Cloud Native Services, in a multicultural team with presence in Portugal and Germany.
Main Responsibilities
* Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure using VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Unix, Active Directory, Horizon/Citrix, and networking.
* Migrate applications to the cloud using Azure Migrate or VMware HCX.
* Troubleshoot and document technical issues.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
Key Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in system engineering or IT infrastructure roles.
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud migration strategies.
* Strong knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Unix, Active Directory, Horizon/Citrix, and networking.
* Experience with Azure networking and Azure Virtual Desktop.
* Familiarity with cloud migration tools such as Azure Migrate or VMware HCX.
* Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
* Good team player with a proactive and positive mindset.
* English fluency (German and/or Portuguese is a plus).
* Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305).
* Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
* Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
