3D Character Artist (Remote position)
We are developing a game engine to power the next generation of video games and interactive media.
We are looking to hire a character artist specializing in high-fidelity photorealistic human characters for video games to create custom characters for trailers and marketing.

The ideal candidate should fit the following requirements:
* A solid portfolio of work covering all aspects of character design and modelling.
* Experience with ZBrush (or any alternative), Substance (or any alternative), Blender (or any alternative).
* Experience with complex asset pipelines that follow strict techical requirements.
* Proficiency in high-poly sculpting.
* Strong retopology skills for creating clean low-poly meshes.
* Knowledge of baking workflows (normal maps, ambient occlusion, curvature) from high to low poly.
* Character rigging including joint placement, skinning, and weight painting.
* Strong understanding of topology flow for deformation and animation.
* Develop photorealistic PBR textures for skin, cloth, and materials using industry-standard workflows.
* Knowledge of UV unwrapping and efficient texture layout for characters.

* Salary range is 30k-60k USD depending on expertise and experience.
