Head of Learning & Talent Development (m/f)
Our client is looking for a Head of Learning & Talent Development to design and lead the European Learning & Talent strategy, supporting a people-first, high-performance culture. Reporting to the CHRO, this role combines strategic vision with hands-on delivery, driving scalable and impactful solutions across multiple countries. The client is the largest vehicle marketplace in Europe, operating a digital marketplace that facilitates the buying and selling of used vehicles for automotive professionals, with services from logistics and inspection to documentation and financing.
Description
* Develop and implement the Learning & Talent Development strategy aligned with business priorities.
* Build a European roadmap for learning initiatives, ensuring consistency while adapting to local needs.
* Introduce leadership development frameworks and behaviours aligned with company culture.
* Design and embed onboarding, early careers, performance management, and succession planning processes.
* Partner with CHRO, senior leaders and HR teams to identify needs and deliver targeted solutions.
* Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and career mobility across countries.
* Facilitate learning sessions and workshops, and implement digital learning solutions.
* Manage external providers, budgets, KPIs, and reporting for all L&D initiatives.
* Continuously improve learning impact through data, feedback, and ROI analysis.
Profile
* Proven experience in Learning & Development and Talent Management in a multi-country or matrix organisation.
* Strong background in designing and delivering leadership, talent, and performance frameworks.
* Excellent coaching and facilitation skills, with impact at senior leadership level.
* Knowledge of digital learning platforms and psychometrics (e.g., Insights, Hogan).
* Ability to operate autonomously in fast-paced and entrepreneurial environments.
* Strong stakeholder management skills across different cultures and geographies.
* High energy, proactive mindset, and hands-on approach.
* Desirable: experience in pan-European or global roles, complex commercial organisations, and relevant certifications (CIPD, Coaching, Psychometrics, Project Management).
* Fluency in English; other European languages are an advantage.
