We are also very proud of developing our own rock solid gaming computers and hardware in general.In Portugal, our office is located in Porto near NorteShopping and we currently have +50 incredible minds in our Team.We are opening a new position for a Game Mathematician to integrate our team full-time, onsite.As a Game Mathematician,What you will do:- Develop mathematical and statistical models for games - Implement mathematical logic according to the specifications of the game design - Develop theoretical par sheets to demonstrate gaming probabilities and mathematical payout - Write and test production code - Work with cross-functional team, overview the game development process and clear any doubts regarding the game implementation - Participate in the game designing processRequired experience:- Solid mathematical background, namely statistics and probability. - Experience in one or more object-oriented programming languages (JavaScript, C#, Python, C++, ...) - Good coding skills - Critical thinking and problem-solving - Creativity and attention to details - Organized, self-reliant and a team player - Fluent in English (spoken and written) - Fluent in Portuguese (spoken) - Able to manage multiple tasks/priorities simultaneously, respond to work with urgency, understand and meet deadlines - Basic understanding (as a user) of Excel
