We're looking for a Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on security, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance in AWS. The role supports the implementation and ongoing operation of ISO 27001, ensuring AWS environments are secure, resilient, and audit-ready.
The client is an Independent Software Vendor specializing in Diagnostics, Service Analytics and Aftersales for the automotive industry, whose systems are used by some of the most renown global brands such as Ford, Aston Martin, JLR, and Kawasaki.
AWS & Technical Skills:
* Strong hands-on AWS experience (IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Backup)
* Solid understanding of backup and disaster recovery concepts
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Security & Compliance
* Practical experience implementing or operating ISO 27001 controls
* Understanding of least privilege, audits, and change management
Professional Experience
* Experience in regulated environments
* Comfortable working with auditors and senior stakeholders
* Able to explain AWS implementations clearly
Nice to Have
* Experience with: AWS Organizations and SCPs, Multi-account AWS environments, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector
* Exposure to other standards (SOC 2, NIST, CIS Benchmarks)
* Incident response or operational resilience background
