eneida DeepGrid is a rich vertical platform, from sensors to software, made by a great multidisciplinary team of Software Engineers, Data Scientists and Embedded Systems Engineers, passionate about creating smarter, more sustainable cities.
At Eneida, you will be challenged daily. You'll work in a supportive, high-tech environment with very demanding customers, developing some of the most critical infrastructure (the electric grid), all as part of a great and meaningful endeavor: creating a Zero Emissions Neighborhood. This will help you grow both professionally and personally.
About the Challenge
The Financial Controller will play a central role in ensuring Eneida's financial operations are efficient, reliable, and strategically aligned with the company's growth ambitions. Reporting directly to the Financial Director, this role combines operational financial tasks with ownership of key processes such as reporting, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
What you'll do:
* Support in preparing the monthly financial statements and dashboard to Eneida's board of directors and management team;
* Monitoring and preparing payment requests within the scope of funded project (PRR, Horizonte Europe, PT2030);
* Support daily operation in the financial department (eg. invoicing, provide support to company accountant, payments)
* Implement the cost accounting process to be able to track operational performance across the different clients and products;
* Assist in preparing the yearly budget and business plan and update the financial model on a recurring basis;
* Ensure efficient ways of controlling the actual spend and prepare relevant, decision driven, analysis and presentations for management;
What we're Looking for:
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant
field
;
- 2–4 years of relevant financial experience, with a proven track record in finance roles;
- Strong experience in financial analysis and KPI monitoring, contributing to informed business decisions;
- Excellent analytical skills, able to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights;
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively to different audiences.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills, able to work closely with colleagues across departments, and act as a partner to management.
- Independent and self-motivated, with a proactive attitude and a proven track record of continuous learning and growth;
- Comfortable working in high-technology and startup environments;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have:
* Background in audit or internal controls is a plus;
* Experience in implementing or working with ERP systems, particularly PHC, is highly valued.
