Our Story
Initially founded as an underground long-hole production drilling business, Swick Mining noticed the need for an underground mobile diamond drill rig.
From this, a rig was born: the Swick Gen I. It was founded on "Excellence unearthed", the idea that the mining industry needed a powerful mobile rig combined with skilled underground drillers to support their safety and productivity. Today, Swick Mining continues to support mining operations around the world.

Job Profile: HSE Coordinator for Europe – (Mining Sector)
Location:
Base location Neves-Corvo, Portugal, and available for frequent travel to other opperations across Europe.

Minimum mandatory requirements
:
-Valid professional certification as a Safety Technician or Senior Safety Technician, issued by the Portuguese Authority for Working Conditions (ACT).
- Completion of a certified course in Occupational Safety and Health from an approved training provider.
-Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within industrial environments, preferably in the mining sector.
- Solid knowledge of Portuguese occupational safety and health legislation, including regulations specific to mining and underground operations.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
- Computer literacy: MS Office, safety management systems (SGSST).
-Portugues and advanced level of English, both spoken and written.

Preferred qualifications (not mandatory, but highly valued):
-Additional training in international safety standards, such as ISO 45001, internal auditing, or accident investigation.
- Complementary certifications in ergonomics, industrial hygiene, psychosocial risk management, crisis or emergency response.
-Familiarity with international safety procedures, to facilitate coordination with teams across different countries.
- Valid Category B driver's license.
