Job Overview:
Become a key contributor to the future of space communications by joining Tekever Space as a Senior Signal Processing Engineer on the GAMALINK team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in signal processing engineering, experience in space technology, and the ability to be the technical point of contact for discussions. You will participate in activities across multidisciplinary teams, driving complex problems to success. We are looking for independent, self-starters who are comfortable identifying problems and using their expertise to path find solutions from a blank page.
Collaborating with a talented team of engineers, you will contribute to the creation and maintenance of space-flight communication systems Software-Defined Radio, while also producing essential technical documentation. This position provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the space industry, working on projects that push technological boundaries. You will be part of a team that values knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Your Responsibilities:
* Evaluate project needs to define requirements, understanding feasibility and identifying development needs to ensure product success.

* Studying state-of-the-art telecommunication signal processing architectures.
* Lead studies to optimize DSP architecture.
* Define and validate space system requirements and interfaces.
* Lead advanced system analysis and trade-offs between hardware and implementation of signal processing techniques.
* Architecture, design and implementation of communication protocols.
* Early-stage identification of implementation feasibilities.
What We're Looking For:
* Master's or Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering.
* 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, preferably in space domain.
* Very strong background in communication theory.
* Experience with and understanding of satellite-communications standards (DVB-S2, CCSDS)
* Architecting and developing novel algorithms and digital signal processing schemes
for communication systems.
* Simulate and design algorithms in Python or a similar scripting language.
* Support validation and testing algorithms in flight hardware.
* Experience with at least one programming language
* Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills
* Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in Portuguese and English, with proven fluency at the C2 level in both languages;
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
