We are designing, producing, selling, and servicing implants and technologies for cardiac rhythm disorders as well as heart failure. Examples are implantable monitors/loop recorders, pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators, telecardiology equipment. Innovation is key in Medtronic, and to optimally serve doctors and patients, the product pipeline is in continuous evolution. CRM is offering a wide product portfolio to (cardiac) surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and electrophysiologists for state-of-the-art treatment of cardiac diseases. In this exciting opportunity as a Technical Consultant CRM, you will provide expert technical support in the hospitals’ operating rooms, as well as work with network of accounts, in order to expand the utilization of device therapies, diagnostics, and monitoring for the Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure disease management. You will also collect market intelligence data, follow, and report competition activities. For this remote position, the working territory will be north centre Portugal, and you will be preferably located in Coimbra or Viseu.**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:*** Provide technical support to physicians in the operating room in the hospitals during Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator implants and Electrophysiology procedures* Advise referring physicians on company products, therapies, and services to optimize patient outcomes* Build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers* Educate referring physicians on clinical evidence of defined therapies to demonstrate improved patient outcomes* Report all account, market, and competitive information, trends, and metrics* Collate and report all customer feedback, product and legal issues, and customer complaints from product-related events* Carry out all administrative duties, such as regularly providing activity reports to the Sales Manager.**Required Knowledge and Experience:*** University degree in Health sciences (biomedical engineering, electrical, IT, natural sciences, or other relevant degree)* At least 5 years of experience minimum in the medical device industry including a hospital operation room environment, preferably with Cardiology devices* Experience in Cath lab procedures, being self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision and proficiency* Experience developing relationships and demonstrated influence with cardiologists and other internal medicine specialties (nurses, technicians, etc.)* Fluent English and Portuguese (both written and spoken)* Clean driving license; Willingness to travel intensively* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organisation, detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.**Physical Job Requirements** The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.# **Benefits & Compensation****Medtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package** A commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
