The Manager of the Corporate Secretary Services team will oversee corporate governance and compliance of the company's activity both in Luxembourg and Portugal.
Description
Running a team of up to 10 people.
Providing guidance and leading other team members to develop new skills and knowledge.
Monitoring client budgets and team billability as well as participating in some internal projects.
Managing a portfolio of clients with all aspects of company law and fund regulation.
Supervising and leading board meetings, including review of minutes and action points.
Monitoring of other key corporate events.
Reviewing legal documentation with critical analysis.
Providing timely and quality delivery of services to clients.
Giving guidance to clients as to good corporate governance proceedings.
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Ensure a timely and accuracy of delivery.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance or related subject. Master's Degree is preferred but not necessary.
2+ years management experience directly managing employees in a service delivery environment.
5+ years of experience in a legal environment. Experience in Fund Administration environment is an added advantage.
Proven leadership and communication skills.
Able to motivate and coach team members.
Sound knowledge of laws and regulations governing the UCITs sector.
Diligent and well-organized with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in English.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proactive and rigorous with the ability to meet deadlines.
