As a highly skilled accounting professional, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategy of our Shared Services Center. This role involves optimizing accounting processes to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities include:

* Developing and implementing the SSC strategy in alignment with our company's overarching goals
","
* Optimizing accounting processes to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
","
* Ensuring timely production of financial statements and monthly closings
","
* Maintaining compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements
","
* Supervising all aspects of the closing processes
","
* Identifying and implementing continuous improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency
","
* Driving the digital transformation of accounting activities by integrating innovative technologies
","
* Collaborating effectively with external auditors
","
Additionally, as a responsible leader, you will also oversee the following key areas:
","
* Team management: leading and mentoring the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
","
* Operational oversight: ensuring optimal resource allocation to meet operational demands
","
* Tax and compliance management: ensuring timely preparation and submission of all tax declarations (e.g. VAT, IRS, IRC, CIT, Mod.10, Mod.30, IES, RFI-21)
","
* Payroll oversight: coordinating salary processing with external providers, calculating related accruals (13th, 14th month, holidays, bonuses), and ensuring accurate payroll accounting entries in the accounting system
","
* Monthly and annual closing: preparing and reviewing journal entries (accruals, commissions, revenues, costs), managing the year-end closing and new fiscal year opening in D365, and ensuring the Trial Balance reflects accurate financial data
","
* Contract, vendor, and receivables control: reviewing supplier and customer contracts, approving new vendors, monitoring receivables, and overseeing payment reviews
","
* Cash and intercompany management: preparing monthly treasury forecasts (CFF)
","
* Operational and reporting support: supporting back-office operations, coordinating with quality and commercial teams on new products and CAPEX…

Qualifications:
","
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field - 'Contabilista Certificado' is mandatory
","
* Proven experience in a Shared Services Center environment, with a track record of managing teams
","
* Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
","
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a multicultural environment
