We are currently supporting a global SaaS company that provides advanced personalization technology used by major e-commerce brands and digital businesses worldwide.
They are now looking for a Technical Account Management Team Lead to join their team in Lisbon, leading a group of Technical Account Managers responsible for delivering outstanding client experiences across Europe.
The Role
This position combines people leadership, client success, and technical understanding.
You will lead a team of 5-6 Technical Account Managers who support large European clients across industries such as e-commerce and digital platforms.
The team works closely with customers to ensure successful product implementation, resolve technical challenges, and maximize the value they get from the platform.
While this role requires technical understanding of web technologies, the focus is primarily on team leadership, client relationships, and strategic guidance.
You'll work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams while helping your team deliver excellent service to a portfolio of key accounts.
Some travel will be required to meet with clients and support strategic engagements across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor and support a team of 5-6 Technical Account Managers
Help the team prioritize work, manage client expectations and resolve escalations
Provide coaching, feedback and career development support
Ensure the team delivers high-quality service across all accounts
Client Success
Support the team in managing 2-5 strategic clients each
Build strong relationships with enterprise customers across Europe
Ensure clients receive proactive guidance and continue to see value from the platform
Step in when needed to advise on complex situations or strategic discussions
Technical & Cross-Team Collaboration
Maintain a strong understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and product capabilities
Partner with Product, Engineering and other internal teams to resolve client challenges
Help translate technical concepts into clear solutions for clients
What We're Looking For
Proven experience leading technical or client-facing teams
Background in Technical Account Management, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, or similar roles
Strong client-facing experience with enterprise customers
Experience managing multiple client projects simultaneously
Good understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in SaaS or digital platforms is highly valued
Comfortable working with international clients across Europe
Willingness to travel occasionally to meet clients and support the team
