About the Role:
As a Cash Collections Representative, you will manage a portfolio of EMEA customers and contribute to Solvay's Accounts performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and analyze customer portfolio to identify risks and payment trends.
- Optimize cash flow using metrics such as DSO, Overdue %, and Payment Terms.
- Negotiate payments while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (GBUs, Sales, Credit, AR, OTC).
- Conduct root-cause analysis for blocked payments and ensure timely resolution.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Credit, or Business Administration (or equivalent).
- Experience in Collections or Credit.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Italian / French / Spanish are a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft tools; SAP and ticketing tools are advantages.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem‑solving, and accountability skills.
Contract & Conditions:
- Contract type: Open-ended fixed-term (termo incerto).
- Full‑time schedule: 09:00–18:00 (8 hours/day).
- Hybrid work model.
- Base salary: €1,785.70 per month.
- Company range: €25,000–€28,000/year + bonus/incentives.
