Role Overview
The Evidence Synthesis practice is part of IQVIA Real World Solutions (RWS), which connects healthcare stakeholders through real-world evidence to demonstrate the value of medicines, enhance quality, and improve outcomes.
Responsibilities
1. Lead evidence synthesis projects, develop statistical analysis protocols, and conduct meta-analyses and treatment comparisons.
2. Provide technical leadership and problem-solving support for evidence synthesis projects.
3. Edit, review, and develop scripts; proficiency in WinBUGS, OpenBUGS, JAGS, and R required; Stan knowledge desirable.
4. Guide quality control, project management, and client engagement.
5. Contribute to business development and maintain client relationships.
6. Advance research credentials through publications and conference presentations.
7. Mentor junior team members and serve as a line manager.
Qualifications
- Master's in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, health economics, or related field; PhD preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in consultancy, CRO, pharma, or academia.
- Strong programming skills in R, Stan, WinBUGS, JAGS, with applied experience.
- Expertise in Bayesian statistics, treatment comparisons, surrogate endpoints, survival analysis.
- Excellent scientific writing and communication skills.
- Understanding of HEOR domains and project management skills.
