Using primarily an SAP platform, the Competence Center ensures Continental’s Sales, Logistics and Finance organizations stay on the leading edge of all things digital. From managing service requests to developing the latest solutions and systems, we are the tech foundation of these organizations.
As Consultant IT Application Risk & Compliance, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Collaborate in the development, implementation, and improvement of the IT Internal control Framework;
2. Conduct risk assessments of IT systems, services, and processes to identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation plans, reporting the results;
3. Collaborate in the development of corrective actions (including internal controls, tracking & reporting) in collaboration with IT service owners and IT management;
4. Develop, implement, and maintain IT compliance and governance policies, procedures, and standards in the area of IT Applications;
5. Conduct regular assessments / internal controls of respective IT application services to ensure compliance with IT regulations, standards, and internal policies;
6. Collaborate with internal and external auditors as well as external regulatory bodies to ensure compliance;
7. Provide training, guidance, and support to IT staff and stakeholders on compliance and governance matters;
8. Participate in global projects, committees, and working groups to provide subject matter expertise;
9. Monitor the progress of corrective actions, working with CC team members to resolve issues timely.
Qualifications
* Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field;
* Experience in IT compliance, governance, regulatory compliance, or similar;
* Experience in internal controls and risk management;
* Knowledge of IT regulations and standards such as ISO, TISAX, GDPR (preferred);
* Strong analytical skills and pragmatic problem-solving abilities;
* Business proficiency in English (written and spoken);
* Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
* Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
