Your Main Objectives As a Data Engineer
You will will be responsible for
building
and
maintaining
data pipelines within our internal Data Platform, with a focus on
aggregating operational data
from various sources across the organization.
As a Data Engineer, you will:
* Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable data pipelines to aggregate operational data from various sources;
* Collaborate with data scientists and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions that meet business requirements;
* Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data;
* Develop and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines and related systems;
* Automate lifecycle and deployment of data pipelines integrating CI/CD and dataOps principles;
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering.
About You
* Educational and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of Data Engineering experience.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Databricks, Microsoft Azure, backend development in Python, data modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and CI/CD on Azure DevOps using YAML and Terraform.
* Knowledge and Familiarity: Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design principles, and a plus for familiarity with ML, Generative AI, and data governance, particularly security and privacy (GDPR).
* Soft Skills and Work Style: Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; Good level of English spoken and written.
