We are looking for an
OpenText Exstream Designer
with strong experience in Customer Communications Management (CCM) solutions to join our engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining highly personalised, scalable, and compliant customer communications across multiple channels.

What you will be doing
• Design, develop, and maintain customer communication templates using
OpenText Exstream Designer
(print and digital outputs).
• Implement dynamic content, business rules, and data mappings to support personalised, data-driven communications.
• Collaborate with business, marketing, and IT teams to translate requirements into robust CCM solutions.
• Ensure multi-channel delivery of communications (PDF, print, email, HTML, digital channels) from a single source.
• Maintain and improve existing Exstream assets, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Support deployments across all environments (Dev, QA, Preprod, Prod), following established release processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in preproduction and production environments, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Contribute to platform standards, best practices, and documentation within the CCM ecosystem.

What we are looking for
• Strong hands-on experience with
OpenText Exstream Designer / OpenText Communications (CCM)
.
• Solid knowledge of document composition, template design, and layout management.
• Experience working with structured data formats such as
XML, JSON, and CSV
.
• Good understanding of business rules, conditional logic, and data transformation within CCM solutions.
• Experience generating high-volume transactional documents (e.g. invoices, statements, letters, contracts).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as
Git
.
• Experience working in enterprise environments with strict compliance, branding, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyse requirements and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Plus (not required but valued)
• Experience with OpenText Exstream Control, Batch, or Output Management components.
• Exposure to HTML5, CSS, or digital channel templates within Exstream.
• Knowledge of integration with CRM or ERP systems (e.g. Salesforce, SAP).
• Experience in financial services, insurance, or utilities environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and automated deployment pipelines.
