About the Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage the export documentation process, ensuring compliance with Letter of Credit (LC) and Documentary Credit (DC) regulations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in import and export business, with knowledge of UCP and INCOTERMS.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with suppliers, forwarders, and shipping companies to ensure timely shipment and document presentation.
* Process and control export documents issued at origin, adhering to LC, DC, and importer's country regulations.
* Negotiate documents as per LC and DC requirements.
* Update daily records in our ERP system.
* Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including suppliers, forwarders, shipping lines, agents, customers, and banks.
Qualifications:
* Strong interest in international trade and logistics.
* Knowledge of trade regulations and standards.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient communication and analytical skills.
* Fluency in English and French; another language is an asset.
