Job Opportunity
We are seeking a professional to work in a hybrid model in Carcavelos/Lisbon or from home in the Algarve region.
* Negotiate commercial conditions (rates, inventory, releases, OVR, MC) and financial conditions (credit terms, payment terms).
* Manage inventory strategically to sell hotel roomnights to the right customer at the right time and for the right price.
* Understand, anticipate, and influence suppliers' behavior to maximize operating margin.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
* Negotiate and contract renewal conditions: rate, inventory, offers, release periods, marketing contributions, overrides, cancellation policy.
* Ensure renewed contracts are live with sufficient lead time to capture early bookings.
* Act as the remote key point contact for accommodation supplier vendors.
* Explain tools and procedures to suppliers.
* Ensure suppliers comply with Health & Safety guidelines.
* Prioritize and turn around campaigns and opportunities.
* Understand, analyze, and identify business trends and opportunities in the destination.
* Explain performance of the destination or specific hotels.
Profile Requirements
* Well organized, ability to manage multitask & prioritize, resistance to stress, high level of resilience.
* Combination of analytical and commercial skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong computer applications skills (Microsoft Word, Excel).
* Native Portuguese level and excellent English both written and oral.
