About The Role
Our Legal Counsel (Lawyer/Attorney-at-Law) will play a key role in the organization, combining critical thinking, strategic vision, and a strong ethical compass.
This person will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, supporting the management of legal risks, and contributing to the protection and enhancement of our brand, in a fast-evolving sector such as tourism and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal support across different business areas (commercial, marketing, product, technology, HR);
- Draft, review, and negotiate national and international contracts (partnerships, suppliers, clients, terms of use);
- Ensure legal compliance in data protection (GDPR), consumer and e-commerce law, intellectual property, and labor law;
- Support the management of legal risks related to the technology and tourism sectors;
- Monitor national and European legislative changes relevant to the business;
- Assist in managing litigation processes, complaints, and interactions with regulatory authorities;
- Define legal strategies for brand reputation and image management;
- Contribute to internal compliance, ethics, and corporate governance policies;
- Raise awareness and provide training to employees on legal obligations (e.g., GDPR, consumer law, competition).
What We're Looking For
- Law degree (Bachelor's/Master's);
- Bar admission (preferred);
- 3–5 years of experience in legal roles, preferably in a corporate environment or law firm with a focus on technology, tourism (must have), and e-commerce;
- Strong knowledge of commercial, contractual, labor, and data protection law;
- Proven experience with international contracts and digital environments;
- Familiarity with regulations applicable to tourism and digital platforms (must have);
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (spoken and written); other languages are an asset;
- Excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, and high professional integrity.
