Position Summary
The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for leading, developing, and executing sales strategies across a portfolio of hospitality properties managed by United Hospitality Management.
This role drives top-line revenue performance by overseeing regional sales teams, cultivating key accounts, expanding market presence, and ensuring alignment with brand standards and corporate objectives.
The ideal candidate is a strategic sales leader with deep hospitality experience, strong market knowledge, and a proven ability to drive results across multiple properties and markets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
Develop and implement regional sales strategies to maximize room revenue, group business, corporate accounts, and ancillary revenue streams
Align regional sales initiatives with United Hospitality Management's overall commercial and brand strategy
Analyze market trends, competitive set performance, and demand drivers to identify growth opportunities
Revenue Growth & Performance Management
Achieve and exceed regional sales targets, budgets, and KPIs
Collaborate with Revenue Management and Marketing teams to optimize pricing, distribution, and promotional strategies
Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and pipelines, ensuring accountability and results
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop Directors of Sales and on-property sales teams across the region
Establish performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching and training
Foster a high-performance, collaborative sales culture
Key Account & Relationship Management
Maintain and grow relationships with major corporate, group, travel trade, and strategic accounts
Represent United Hospitality Management at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
Negotiate and oversee regional and national sales agreements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Operations, Revenue Management, Marketing, and Brand teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
Support new hotel openings, transitions, and rebranding efforts within the region
Ensure consistent sales processes, reporting, and CRM usage across properties
Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and strategic updates to senior leadership
Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and ethical sales practices
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
8–12+ years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality industry
Minimum of 3–5 years in a multi-property or regional sales leadership role
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading high-performing sales teams
Strong knowledge of hotel sales, group and corporate segments, and market analytics
Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office
