Job Description
As a key member of the Operations Strategy team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling our global footprint. This central role focuses on developing and executing strategies related to market research, depot expansion, network design, and the real estate operating model - ensuring alignment with broader operational, financial, and customer experience goals.
You will be responsible for designing data-driven expansion plans, evaluating location performance, coordinating end-to-end real estate programs, and developing scalable frameworks and processes that empower our regional leadership to support the company's rapid and sustainable growth.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field and at least 8 years of experience in strategic consulting, corporate strategy, private equity, or a similar role within a fast-paced, asset-heavy, or real estate-intensive environment.
They will have strong experience in multi-site or real estate expansion projects, ideally in the retail, logistics, mobility, or hospitality sectors.
Advanced analytical and modeling skills, with a track record of leading or supporting complex location and investment decisions, are essential.
A solid understanding of lease management, permitting, zoning, and capex project coordination is also required.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities, with experience working cross-functionally and across cultures, are highly valued.
Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive Network Expansion Strategy: Lead the strategic planning of depot growth across regions, identifying priority geographies, optimal site typologies, and expansion timing based on business projections and operational needs.
* Own Location Evaluation Models: Develop and refine decision-making frameworks and tools to guide real estate and expansion decisions.
* Coordinate Real Estate Projects: Work cross-functionally to manage site opening projects from concept to go-live, ensuring alignment across regional functions and local operations.
* Design Standard Frameworks: Create and maintain scalable operating models, guidelines, and playbooks covering location rollout, fit-out standards, zoning/permit processes, and lease negotiations.
* Monitor Performance and Optimize the Network: Track location-level KPIs to evaluate network performance and recommend reconfigurations, upgrades, relocations, or closures as needed.
* Mentor and Lead: Provide guidance to regional operations analysts involved in expansion and real estate initiatives, fostering their development and ensuring high-quality execution.
* Drive Cross-Regional Collaboration: Ensure central strategies are effectively tailored to regional and local contexts through close coordination with regional directors and on-the-ground teams.
