Business Analyst/PowerBI Developer
(Remote – Portugal based)
What You'll Do:
* Gather business requirements, define objectives, metrics, and KPIs, and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
* Design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable data models, ensuring performance and data integrity.
* Integrate multiple data sources (relational databases, files, APIs) and perform ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load).
* Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI (Power Query, DAX, custom visuals).
* Transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights aligned with stakeholder expectations.
* Ensure data quality, consistency, and refresh cycles of reports and dashboards.
* Document data models, ETL processes, and data flows.
* Stay up to date with Power BI features and BI/Data Analytics trends.
* Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
* 4+ years of experience in data analysis, data processing, and business insight visualization.
* Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Query, DAX, SQL, and ETL processes.
* Experience working with Office 365.
* Solid understanding of databases and enterprise applications.
* Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
* English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2).
* Castelhano proficiency is a plus.
* Living in Portugal.
