Web Software Developer Role
We are seeking a skilled Web Software Developer to join our team.
About the Role
In this role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining web-based platforms for supply chain and sustainability management. You will work closely with the team to design new software modules and help implement them from scratch.
You will contribute your expertise to enhance our data-driven applications and take them to the next level.
Your Key Responsibilities
* You will be responsible for programming and further development in the frontend and backend.
* You will design standards for all phases of the software development life cycle together with the team.
* You will support the product team in technical and implementation concepts for modern, user-oriented, and intuitive applications and their integration into existing solutions.
* You will work in an interdisciplinary manner with machine learning engineers, DevOps engineers, product managers, and UX designers.
* You will create concepts and specifications for system integrations and deal with software architectures.
* You will perform code reviews and share your knowledge within the team to promote technical excellence.
* You will work on features and bug fixes and ensure clean display on different end devices.
Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A degree in IT or comparable training.
* At least 5 years of professional experience as a web or full-stack developer.
* Solid skills in developing modern web applications with frameworks such as Angular.
* A high level of quality awareness and experience in setting up automated tests and ensuring software quality across all development phases.
* Experience in connecting and integrating systems based on technical interface descriptions.
* Good knowledge of connecting and using databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
* Experience working with CI/CD processes via GitHub.
* Ideal experience with cloud-based technologies (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and initial contact with Docker and Kubernetes.
* The ability to work in an agile environment and contribute your ideas.
* Excellent written and spoken English skills.
* Bonus points for German language skills.
