Invacare is looking for an Transition Accounts Receivable Associate to join our Financial Services team in Porto. This is not a traditional AR role, it's a unique opportunity to be part of a high-impact transition project, where you will actively shape the future of our Shared Service Center.
What you will do:
* Manage day-to-day AR operations (cash application, collections, credit, disputes, month-end closing);
* Be a key player in transition activities: shadowing, reverse shadowing, hypercare, and go-live;
* Learn and adapt quickly to new processes, ensuring a smooth knowledge transfer;
* Create and maintain SOPs, building knowledge for the wider team;
* Analyze processes, identify risks, and contribute to continuous improvement;
* Act as a bridge between local entities and the SSC during transitions.
What you bring:
* Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting;
* 2+ years' experience in AR or Finance roles;
* Excellent communication in English (fluency in German is a strong plus);
* Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and adaptability;
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of Dynamics AX and QAD is a plus;
* A proactive, curious, and collaborative approach – eager to grow in an international environment;
* Previous transition or migration project experience is an advantage.
