About the Role
* Develop RAM Plans and Safety Cases;
* Conduct Hazard Identification studies (HAZIDs);

* Perform Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECAs), create Event Trees using software tools;
* Use Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs) and FMEA techniques for reliability prediction analysis;
RBDs are used for reliability prediction
* Manage Project/Product Hazard Logs;
* Produce Safety Cases and Technical Safety Reports;
* Review peer tasks outputs as required for a given project;
* Participate in safety assessments, technical project reviews, and audits throughout the project lifecycle;
* Raise alerts when safety is compromised;
* Establish effective communication with other project roles including customer personnel.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
* At least five years of experience in railway signalling systems, focusing on electronic interlockings and ETCS Level 2 systems;
* Ability to write detailed reports and manage multiple tasks;
* Knowledge of railway CENELEC standards such as EN 50128 and others;
* Effective communication and reporting skills in both English and Portuguese languages.
