Job Description
Your role at a forward-thinking organization involves collaborating with our team to deliver high-quality data engineering services.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Daily production checks are conducted to identify delays or mistakes in processes or flows, and prompt action is taken by the relevant departments.
2. Coordinating with IT OPS teams and subsidiaries to manage production incidents from start to finish.
3. Regular communication with corporate entities to update them on incident status.
4. Supporting data-related issue resolution.
5. Creating reports on significant events and incidents, suggesting enhancements for monitoring dashboards.
6. Responding to infrastructure requests (networks, databases, storage, etc.).
7. Deliveries of CI/CD toolchains for pre-production and production settings are coordinated with IT OPS.
8. Monitoring infrastructure expenses and working with FINOPS.
9. Evaluating modifications and making suggestions.
10. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Strong Dremio experience (at least one year) is essential. Proficiency in Shell programming in SQL on Dremio Unix, Grafana (ELK), Kibana, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, Jira CI/CD: Jenkins, DBT, GitLab, Airflow, Reflections, Autosys, SDLC, and English language skills (C1 level) are necessary. Based in Portugal (citizenship or Work Visa – mandatory).
