We are looking for a Functional Safety Engineer to join our Above Water Systems team at Thales.
Your mission
Your mission:
* Analyse customer requirements and translate them into system requirements for functional safety
* Define the Safety Case architecture, identify system hazards, maintain the hazard log, and define mitigation measures to reduce system-related risks
* Formalise the safety strategy in a Safety Program Plan document
* Collect evidence and perform the safety analysis
* Deliver the System Safety Assessment Report
Your profile
* Degree in Engineering
* Experience as Functional Safety Engineer, preferably in Civil and Military aerospace avionic systems development
* Knowledge of the disciplines of systems engineering, software engineering and systems/software testing
* Fluency in Portuguese and English
