British American Tobacco Iberia has an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Executive in Lisbon.

To contribute to the performance of the marketing organization by assisting the Key Account Manager in implementing both the KA strategy and BAT best practices within the assigned geographical scope and customer base, while working closely with line and support functions to maximize business effectiveness and financial efficiency in the implementation of the KA strategy and aim to become a preferred supplier for the channel.


Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

1. Monitor and drive the development of organized trade channels and key accounts within the assigned region, aligning actions with customer needs and BAT's strategic objectives.
2. Actively engage with customers to understand their strategies and influence key decisions to strengthen BAT’s market positioning.
3. Implement the KA strategy effectively while identifying growth opportunities to improve BAT’s performance and visibility within the channel.
4. Support the National KA Manager in aligning strategy with field teams, monitor implementation progress, and ensure execution excellence.
5. Set and deliver on volume, distribution, merchandising, and activation targets in accordance with market potential and company goals.
6. Use market insights for data-driven resource allocation, conduct regular audits, and manage performance to enhance sales and visibility.
7. Promote a KA management culture by mentoring team members and field forces, and ensuring effective use of account management tools.
8. Build strong partnerships with strategic accounts, ensure proper execution of trade agreements, and foster internal collaboration to meet servicing standards.


What are we looking for?

* At least 2 years of key account management experience in a renowned FMCG company.
* Strong interpersonal skills and good communication abilities.
* Ability to manage up, down, and laterally.
* Strategic thinking with good analytical skills.
* A strong negotiator.
* Creative thinking.
* Leadership ability.
* A good implementer of plans with attention to details.
* Computer literate.
* Bachelor's Degree.
* Fluent/Operational level English language is a plus.
