As a Junior Android Developer you will work with our team in Funchal to develop innovative and user-friendly mobile applications for the Android platform. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment while contributing to the success of our company. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features for our Android applications Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging to ensure high-quality and efficient code Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in mobile development Work closely with designers to implement UI/UX designs that provide an optimal user experience Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users or internal stakeholders Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages Knowledge of Android SDK and different versions of Android and how to deal with different screen sizes Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Familiarity with agile development methodologies Good communication skills Preferences Prior experience developing mobile applications for Android Familiarity with Git version control system Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Passion for learning new technologies and eagerness to take on new challenges Why work with us Competitive salary of 1600$ per month Accommodation provided Opportunity for growth within the company We are committed to creating a diverse work environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported.
