We're looking for a proactive and personable Community & Cafeteria Manager to join our team. This unique role blends responsibilities in cafeteria management with front-desk hospitality, requiring someone with strong organizational skills, fluency in both Portuguese and English, and a passion for fostering community connections.
Occasionally, this person will also step in to cover the coworking Community Manager at the front desk, ensuring seamless service.
Key Responsibilities
Cafeteria Management
* Design and plan menus, ensuring quality and variety.
* Source and manage supplier relationships, handling all orders.
* Prepare and serve food and beverages with attention to presentation and customer satisfaction.
* Offer a warm, welcoming experience for all guests.
Bilingual Communication
* Fluency in both spoken and written Portuguese and English to facilitate seamless communication with clients and team members.
Customer-Friendly & Organized
* Maintain a positive, welcoming attitude at all times.
* Keep the reception area organized and efficient, ensuring a smooth experience for all visitors.
* Serve as a backup to the coworking Community Manager at the front desk as needed, providing consistent support and assistance to the coworking community.
Hospitality Services
* Organize and set up coffee breaks, meals, and refreshments for meetings.
* Serve coffee, snacks, and refreshments with professionalism and care.
Community Engagement
* Plan, organize, and execute events that build a sense of community and engagement.
* Work with team members to create a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
* Prior experience in cafeteria management, reception, or customer service is preferred.
* Fluency in Portuguese and English (additional languages are a plus).
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
* Positive, team-oriented attitude and enthusiasm for community engagement.
