We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of mechanical services on large-scale, mission-critical data centre projects based in Lisbon.
This is a site-based role with responsibility for managing mechanical works from detailed design coordination through construction, commissioning and handover.
You will lead mechanical teams on site, coordinate with other disciplines and subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

Mechanical Project Manager Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
Proven experience delivering mechanical services on data centre or other mission-critical projects
Strong experience leading mechanical or MEP project teams on site
Solid understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, pipework and plant installations
Strong commercial awareness with experience managing procurement and subcontractor packages
Experience in construction sequencing, scheduling and programme management
Ability to review drawings and specifications and identify design risks or omissions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating multidisciplinary teams
Strong commitment to health and safety leadership on site
Ability to work in a fast-paced, technically demanding construction environment
As a Mechanical Project Manager:
Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers and site personnel on data centre projects
Oversee mechanical installation works, ensuring quality, specification and programme requirements are met
Propose and implement design or construction changes to improve cost efficiency, buildability and quality
Coordinate with contracts managers, site engineers and discipline leads to ensure effective information flow
Review drawings and specifications, ensuring errors or omissions are identified and formally communicated
Establish project resource requirements and plan mechanical delivery activities
Manage procurement of mechanical packages and materials
Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with project standards
Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance on site
Support commissioning activities and mechanical handover to the client
The Package:
Salary will be DOE, but you can expect at least €90,000 plus package including accommodation and rotation allowances where applicable.
