The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Immigration Lawyer
to join our team and provide legal expertise in Portuguese immigration programs, particularly the
Golden Visa, D2 Visa, and other residency/citizenship pathways
. You will work closely with our international clients, providing
legal guidance, document preparation, compliance checks, and representation
before Portuguese authorities.
This role requires
precision, professionalism, and empathy
, as you will support clients making life-changing decisions for themselves and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on immigration law, visa options, and investment-related residency programs.
Draft, review, and file legal documents for residency, work permits, citizenship, and family reunification cases.
Liaise with SEF (Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras), local notaries, and government entities.
Conduct
KYC (Know Your Customer)
and compliance checks.
Support due diligence processes related to investment properties.
Provide updates to clients in clear, professional, and timely communication.
Collaborate with the sales and advisory team to ensure seamless client onboarding and case progression.
Requirements
Law degree and
registration with the Portuguese Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados)
.
Minimum of
3 years of experience in immigration law
, ideally with focus on residency and citizenship programs.
Strong knowledge of Portuguese immigration legislation, particularly Golden Visa and D2 Visa processes.
Excellent command of
English and Portuguese
(spoken and written). Additional languages are an advantage.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while being part of a multidisciplinary team.
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and client service mindset.
