Product Designer needed to join our team on a contract or permanent basis, here at VML Enterprise Solutions.

We are seeking a passionate and talented Product Designer (UX/UI) to join our dynamic team in the Lisbon or Porto office in Portugal. This hybrid role is ideal for a highly skilled individual who excels in best-in-class user experience and user interface design and is eager to craft exceptional digital experiences that drive engagement and conversion. You will be at the forefront of digital design, problem solving with user-centricity at the core, and working collaboratively within a cross-functional team to craft delightful and impactful solutions for a diverse range of projects.

What you’ll be doing:
You are a highly motivated, self-sufficient, and top-tier Product Designer (UX/UI) with a drive to create exceptional digital experiences. Your passion for user experience and user interface design drives you to find smarter ways of creating outstanding digital experiences. You understand the critical role of bridging the gap between UX and UI to deliver end-to-end expertise across various products, services, devices, and channels.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are flexible to work on-site when needed. Your proactive learning attitude and eagerness to share knowledge make you a valuable team player who contributes positively to the collective effort. With a strong user-first mindset, you possess the maturity and initiative to ensure we deliver exemplary digital experiences for customers whilst driving continual improvement, knowing that when our clients succeed, we succeed.
What we want from you:
* Extensive experience in product design (UX/UI) roles, supported by a university degree (or equivalent) in the relevant field.
* Collaborate closely with UX/UI Leads, Content Designers, Product Managers, Developers, and clients as part of the product design process.
* Take creative direction from Principals/Leads to develop forward-thinking concepts and deliver visionary design direction.
* Proactively elevate experiences by collaborating with the Content team to identify content gaps.
* Bring a self-motivated mindset, demonstrating self-sufficiency in problem-solving and creating intuitive, efficient, and relevant experiences.
* Utilise user research and insights to propose data-driven decisions to instil confidence in stakeholders.
* Clearly and persuasively present solutions to experience deficiencies and business needs.
* Plan and conduct user research to better understand user behaviours and motivations.
* Demonstrate expertise in delivering artefacts including competitor benchmarking, site maps, heuristic evaluations, wireframes, Figma designs, and prototypes.
* Investigate how existing products work to input into solution feasibility.
* Bring in-depth knowledge of design systems and tokenisation to adhere to user-centred design practices.
* Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, technologies, and AI capabilities.
* Proficiency in motion design would be beneficial.
