Key Responsibilities
Role Purpose
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for accounting-related topics for local and/or international entities (under IFRS and local GAAP), with a substantial involvement in tax and treasury.
Role Responsibilities & Main Tasks
* Daily tasks/responsibilities: Ensure Group accounting policies are applied; ensure internal control procedures are followed (ICoFr framework); participate in process and tool improvements.
* Monthly tasks/responsibilities: Perform monthly closing tasks; provide and review monthly packages with partners.
* Quarterly tasks/responsibilities: Analyze balance sheets at consolidation level, IFRS, and directional reporting; participate in contract analysis and legal documents; liaise with external auditors; prepare tax packages with Tax Manager; liaise with partners for data accuracy.
* Semiannual/Annual tasks/responsibilities: Participate in tax reporting; prepare financial statements including audit and filing; support partners with financial statements; conduct ad hoc audit missions if needed.
Competencies
* Business School or Finance & Accounting degree
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related environment or audit firm
* Proficiency in IT tools (Microsoft Office, ERP)
* Knowledge of IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IAS 37, and statutory accounting and tax requirements in an international environment
