Experience and Partnership Development Manager
Description:
* We are seeking an experienced professional to drive our events pipeline and strategy, lead the planning and delivery of private and corporate events, and develop partnerships that generate a steady programme of value-adding events to support membership growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop our commercial strategy and pipeline of private events to drive event bookings of private and corporate events. Manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation, needs analysis and proposal writing to budgeting, contract negotiation and deal closing.
2. Direct the planning, management of and direct on site oversight of each and every commercial event including pitch, supplier selection, time scheduling, budget management and coordinating for internal teams for delivery.
3. Develop and oversee a dynamic calendar of regular knowledge based events with local partners designed to enhance the experience of our members and generate leads for membership and event sales.
4. Represent Hive Cascais at external events, networking functions, and business forums to promote the brand and generate leads.
5. Work collaboratively with the Hive Cascais Team to ensure alignment between member events and commercial activities.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Demonstrable experience in event and sales management from having done a similar role;
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships effectively.
* Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Fluency in English is a must have.

Working Hours:
* Freelance contract equivalent to 40 hours per week.
* Hours are flexible, depending on event programming and operational requirements.
* Occasional evening or weekend work is expected, with weekday adjustments to maintain balance.
