As a Cloud Operation Engineer, you will be responsible for performing regular operations related to Azure monitoring, backup monitoring, patch management, Azure compliance, sizing optimizations and advisory, as well as Azure consumption reports, follow-ups on Azure security scores.

- Perform regular operations related to Azure monitoring, Azure compliance, sizing optimizations, cost optimizations and advisory, as well as Azure consumption reports, follow-ups on Azure security scores.
- Collaborate with the Cloud IT team to ensure the smooth operation of the Azure environment.
- Implement automation and scripting to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with best practices and company policies.
- Participate in project planning and execution.
Profile
Required Skills:
- Experience working with Azure and Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in scripting for example: Terraform, Python, etc...
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with security and compliance standards.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud operations or related field.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104 or AZ-204 are a plus.
