At Decskill, we're seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to drive our cloud strategy and ensure the seamless operation of OutSystems products hosted on the OutSystems Cloud Platform.
Cloud Infrastructure Expert
This role requires someone who can design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure that meets the needs of our customers. Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring high availability and efficiency of the hosting platform
* Optimizing solutions for ease of use, reusability, and scalability
* Creating documentation for implementations and development activities
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services
Requirements include:
* Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or related field
* 7+ years of experience in software development or operations
* 3+ years of experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or hybrid)
* Prior experience with DevOps, CI/CD, or SRE environments is a bonus
* Expertise in Kubernetes/Docker
* Advanced knowledge of best practices and experience in code-based configuration, IaC, load-balancing, auto-scaling, monitoring, alerting, networking, and problem-solving in a cloud environment
* Demonstrated ability to design and implement automation infrastructure solutions
* Proficient in any programming language and comfortable learning new ones
* Background in highly-available distributed systems
* Hands-on approach and willingness to learn, troubleshoot issues, and solve problems
* Ability to collaborate with team members working globally
* Good level of English communication skills
